GIS Connectivity to JC3IEDM for Mobile Target Applications
The issue of target vehicle, sensor, and weapon database development is under consideration. This task involves research of vehicle types, weapons, and configurations of all information required to evaluate a mobile strike. The Joint Consultation Command and Control Information Exchange Data Model (JC3IEDM) is a model that enables interoperability between government and coalition forces. For the LBTAOU application this data model will be used to hold dynamic data such as currently deployed weapons and blue and red force locations. This information will then be added to a GIS map through a lo-fi simulation.
